Chris Brown & Ciara Are Family
Chris
Brown is teaming up with diva Ciara on a new star-studded collaboration
to benefit recovery efforts in the areas devastated by Hurricane
Katrina. The pair appear with a host of R&B stars on an update of
the disco anthem “We Are Family”, due out on August 29th – the one year
anniversary of Katrina.
New York radio station Hot
97 announces its annual hip-hop extrvangaza, Summer Jam. This year's
event is slated for June 4, once again at Giants Stadium, and Mary J.
Blige, Busta Rhymes, Ne-Yo, Chris Brown and Mobb Deep are among the first names acts revealed. Academy Award winners Three 6 Mafia and Jamie Foxx will also perform.
In
other Hot 97 news, on Thursday, the New York City District Council of
Carpenters Pension Fund, the organization that owns the building at 395
Hudson St., announced that it had directed its attorneys to begin the
eviction process against the radio station. According to the New York
Daily News, the owner is "concerned about the safety of the public and
of our other tenants."
A source close to Hot 97, says the
station has had several discussions with the pension fund council about
security issues, but first heard about the possibility of eviction in
Friday morning's newspaper.
"There is no basis for eviction
based on the lease," said the source, who asked to remain anonymous.
"There have been incidents that occurred seven floors down and on the
street, and as such, Hot 97 has no fault in those shootings. The lease
is a legal agreement, and there is nothing in the lease that gives them
the legal power to evict us."

Chris is currently on tour so he isn't going to many
partys or events so I can't find many pictures and I'm sorry. He's
coming to Chi-town(Chicago) on April 23rd but unfortunately, I can not
go but I see him around then I'll try and meet him but I doubt it,lol.
He will end touring on May 6th so he WILL be performing on his
birthday(May 5th) in Connecuit but he'll be done on the 6th and he'll be around cameras more often.
Chris's next single is Say Goodbye and he is
working on the concept for the video, right now. Then he is choosing
between Poppin and Just fine for the 5th single. Also, he is planning
on making his debut acting carreer in the movie, "Steppin" with some
other Music Artists and Chris will be playing the little brother of the
main character but he hasn't quite signed the dotted line yet but he
likes the script so far SO we'll see wat happenz...
Rihanna may be (MAYBE!) was Chris's guest to the Nickelodean awards or jus went there by herself but... Maybe they're dating...
